Thank you for visiting the 2020 Optical store website. By
using the website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out
below. We make changes to the site, terms and conditions and details displayed
on it, so review the terms and conditions regularly for updates and changes. The
use of the website shall be deemed to be your acceptance of these updates and
changes and when placing an order the acceptance of the terms and conditions
must be renewed.
The 2020 Optical store will not be liable to you where we
are unable to meet any of our obligations to you as a result of any
circumstances or cause beyond our control. These terms and conditions and any
contract between us shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes
between us.
1. Contact Lens
Sales Requirements
In order for the 2020 Optical Store to process your order
you must understand and agree to the following
a)
We will supply contact lenses in conformity with the details supplied by
you.
b)
We trust that the information given by you is the correct contact lens
prescription provided by a qualified optician or contact lens practitioner.
c)
The contact lens prescription must not be more then 12 months old.
d)
We reserve the right not to supply you with contact lenses if we consider
the contact lenses requested according to your contact lens prescription are not
suitable.
e)
We cannot be held responsible for your lack of suitability to wear
contact lenses as detailed in your contact lens prescription or for your overall
suitability to wear contact lenses.
f)
You have not been advised to stop wearing contact lenses by a qualified
optician, contact lens practitioner or medical practitioner.
g)
You must provide us with your current valid contact lens prescription in
accordance to the terms and conditions set out for Contact Lens Prescription
Requirements.
h)
You are ordering the contact lenses for yourself and are over 16 years of
age.
2. Contact Lens
Prescription Requirements
In order for the 2020 Optical Store to process your order
we will need to see a copy of your contact lens prescription provided by a
qualified optician or contact lens practitioner which must be less that 12
months old. The prescription can be sent to us using the
following methods:
a)
By fax to 02078715445 (please clearly indicate your name and reference
number)
b)
By email to prescriptions@20-20.co.uk (a
scanned copy of the original document and clearly indicate your name and
reference number)
c)
By post to 2020 Optical Store 216-217 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T
7PT (clearly indicate your name and reference number). Please note a copy of the
original or photocopy of the original prescription document from the optician is
required.
d)
By giving us your opticians or contact lens practitioners details where
you had a sight test and were given a contact lens prescription, we can then get
the contact lens prescription from them.
If you have had a sight test at the 2020 Optical Store and
were fitted with contact lenses or were given a contact lens prescription then
we will have the prescription details on our records, please inform us of this.
The contact lens prescription must not be more then 12 months old for us to
process your order, if this is not the case we will contact you by email or
telephone.
3. Prices and
Payment
The prices shown on the site are inclusive of VAT. The
prices shown on the 2020 Optical Store website are applicable only when placing
an order via the website. Delivery charges will be clearly shown and included in
the total cost of your order. The 2020 Optical Store cannot accept your order
until it has been paid in full. We reserve the right not to supply you at our
discretion and draw your attention to our terms and conditions concerning Contact
Lens Sales Requirements and Contact Lens Prescription Requirements. Prices and
quantities are detailed under the product. We accept all major Credit and Debit
cards.
4. Cancellation and
Returns Policy
If you wish to cancel your order, you must return to us any
goods that have already been supplied to you in its original packaging and
unopened. If you believe the goods to be faulty, incorrect or damaged upon
delivery, we will cover the cost of return (provided that the means of return is
agreed by us) and we will replace or exchange any such goods or we will refund
you what you have paid, including carriage cost. Please keep proof of postage
when returning goods. If you decide that you wish to cancel prior to receiving
the goods you must notify us immediately, we will endeavor to prevent the goods
being despatched, If we are unable to do this you will then have to return them
to us. We will only refund for goods that have been returned to us within one
month of the purchase date. Our policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Please accompany any returns with a brief covering letter and a copy the
receipt.
5. Refunds
Refunds will be made by re-crediting the payment card
account from which the money was originally debited, or if you paid by cheque,
by crediting the local branch of your Bank with the equivalent amount. All
refunds will be made within 28 days of the cancellation of your order, for
whatever reason (subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions
relating to the Cancellations and Return).
6. Exchange
If your contact lens prescription changes, contact lenses
may be returned for exchange provided they are still 12 months within the expiry
date, unopened, undamaged and in the original packaging. You are required to
supply us with the new valid contact lens prescription. For the replacement 2020
Optical Store will charge the standard postage and packaging fee.
7. Product Despatch
All goods are despatched on clearance of funds,
verification of the prescription and subject to availability. We despatch goods
on the next working day upon receiving your order if we have the contact lenses
in stock, otherwise we will contact you by email to inform you of the earliest
despatch date.
8. Product
Availability
If any of the goods you order are not available for
whatever reason, we will attempt to inform you of this by email or telephone,
and if you wish we will cancel your order and refund you anything that you have
paid to us.
9. Contact Lens
After Care
Should you
require contact lens aftercare, you can come to the 2020 Optical and be seen to
by our optician and you will be charged a consultation fee; However if you have
had a contact lens fitting with the 2020 Optical Store and your contact lens
after care is valid then the consultation fee will be wavered.
10. Promotions,
Offers and Discounts
All 2020 Optical
Store Promotions, Offers, Discounts, Loyaty card, Student card, 2020 card,
Corporate card and Gold card discounts cannot be used towards purchases on the
2020 Optical Store website.
11. Disclaimer
Your use of the 2020 website ("Site") is at your own risk. The
information given on the Site is for guidance only and we give no warranty as to
the accuracy, completeness or relevance of this information. We give no
guarantee, warranty or undertaking that any products you wish to purchase
("Products") will remain available or will meet your requirements, or
that access to the Site will be or remain secure, uninterrupted or error free.
It shall be your responsibility to ensure that the Products meet your specific
requirements. The ranges of spectacles, sunglasses, contact lenses and contact
lens solutions are for demonstrative purposes only and are indicative of what
may, or may not be in stock within the 2020 Optical Store at any time. The
products shown on this website are in stock as at the time of site content
preparation and update, but are subject to availability thereafter.
12. Data Protection
2020 Optical Store utilizes the latest in Secure Server Technology to ensure
that all personal and transactional information is protected to the highest
standards. We never make your personal details available to companies outside
the 2020 Optical Store for marketing purposes, although our representatives may
hold your data so that your details and/or order can be processed and/or account
maintained.
13. Keeping In Touch With You
We want to keep you up to date with news and information about what's happening
at the 2020 Optical Store. You can choose what information you want to receive
by completing and submitting the registration form. You can unsubscribe at any
time by contacting us and amending your preferences. Please remember we will
only send you e-mail updates to the address you enter on to the registration
form and we will not pass this information onto any organization outside of
2020 Optical Store. If you choose to enter your mobile telephone number to
receive text message alerts about offers from 2020 Optical Store you can
unsubscribe by contacting us and amending your preferences. The 2020 Optical
Store will not be held liable for the accuracy or otherwise, of any data
including email addresses and mobile telephone numbers supplied to us. The 2020
Optical Store cannot verify or correct data without being informed by and with

no control over such Third Party Sites and therefore cannot accept

have no liability to you in respect of any loss or damage that you may incur
