We pride ourselves in always being available and ready to accommodate your every need. 1 Hour Service At 20-20, most spectacles can be made in an hour and most contact lenses are usually ready to collect on the same day. Our ample spectacle and contact lens stock enables us to achieve this in 90% of our cases. Most prescription sunglasses can be ready to wear in about 3 hours. Items that we order include special custom-made contact lenses and multifocal spectacle lenses.Should you require something urgently that we do not have in stock, we will endeavor to supply you with a temporary solution, so that you leave visually reassured. Care Plan Scheme Care Plan is 20-20 Optical Store's complete eye care and payment plan for contact lenses. As a member you will receive regular check ups including two-yearly full Eye Examinations that include Optomap Retinal Scanning and Eye Pressure testing, an annual contact lens consultation, and any interim appointments as you feel necessary, without additional cost.Section 60 of Optician's Act 2005, states that in order for the supply of contact lenses to continue, the following is legally required: annual contact lens consultation, lens fitting check ups (usually two, but more for custom-made lenses), and two-yearly comprehensive Eye Examinations. As a Care Plan member, all your necessary checks are provided automatically at no further cost to you. Not only does Care Plan take care of the necessary appointments for its members, but it also offers one of kind benefits at the 20-20 Optical Store. Interest Free Options The Interest Free Option is available to all 20-20 customers. This allows you to spread the cost of your spectacles, contact lenses, sunglasses or all into installments over a period of time. You can, therefore, enjoy the benefit of new eyewear immediately without burning a hole in your pocket!All product purchases* of £200 or more can be spread over a 9-12 month period. A deposit of 25% or more and one form of identification is required. The identification can be one of the following: credit card, debit card, driver's license or passport. Approvals should be granted within a few minutes. * Contact lens solutions are excluded Corporate Plan Scheme 20-20's Corporate Plan is a chance for London-based businesses to provide the required VDU (visual display units) testing for their employees.Since the Health and Safety Executive Regulations passed in 1992, employers are legally obligated to provide an eye exam for each of their employees who work with display screen equipment (DSE), such as computers or visual display units (VDUs). If employees seek eye exams independently, they are entitled to a full reimbursement of the fee paid from their employers. This is where 20-20 can help. For only £20 per eye exam voucher, which is discounted from £35, companies can provide this proper testing for their employees without worrying about reimbursing their employees. Along with this discounted price are benefits that each voucher provides, such as: • 25% off designer eyewear (excludes jewellery eyewear) • 20% off spectacles • 10% off sunglasses • 0% interest free credit up to 12 months • 10% extra off sales prices (in first 2 weeks of seasonal sale) • 10% off Care Plan (Complete Eye Care Plan for contact lens wearers) In order to apply, you must be a London-based business and have at least 10 employees. Ordering Information Spectacle or contact lens orders can be placed by contacting our Call Centre at 020 7596 2020, or by using our contact form.Damaged or Lost Prescriptions Damaged or lost spectacles or contact lenses can be replaced with ease. Just fax your prescription* (must be no more than 12 months old) to 020 7871 5445, and our team will replace your order as soon as possible. You will be asked to sign a frame repair disclosure form prior to us undertaking any work. Quick delivery can be arranged unless you would prefer to collect your prescription at the store. * Non-20-20 contact lens prescriptions must include the fitting parameters of the lenses and an expiry date. Non-20-20 spectacle prescriptions should include the model, make, size and colour of the frame as well as your PD measurement. Thin lens options can be discussed with our dispensers over the telephone. Spectacle orders limited to single vision only unless the exact replica of previous multifocals is required AND these were purchased at 20-20. Some complex prescriptions require additional measurements. Accor & NHS Eye Examinations Free Accor & NHS eye examinations and NHS vouchers are available to certain individuals only. Should you fall into this category; Optomap Retinal Scanning will cost you a supplementary £12.50.Accor Sight Test: Accor eye exam voucher holders will be issued with an Accor voucher from their employer. NHS Sight Test: You qualify for a free NHS sight test if you are: • 60 years of age or over • Under 16 • 16, 17, or 18 and in full time education • Prescribed complex lenses (+ or - 10.00 dioptres) • Registered blind or partially sighted • Suffering from diabetes • Suffering from glaucoma or have ocular hypertension and have been advised by an ophthalmologist that you are at risk of glaucoma • 40 years of age or over and are a parent, brother, sister, son or daughter of a glaucoma patient Or if you or your partner receives: • Income Support • Jobseeker's Allowance (Income-based) • Working Families' Tax Credit • Pension Credit Guaranteed Credit NHS Optical Vouchers may be used towards the cost of your spectacles or contact lenses. You are entitled to an NHS Optical Voucher if you are: • Under 16 • 16, 17, or 18 and in full time education • Prescribed complex lenses (+ or - 10.00 dioptres) or if you or your partner receives: • Income Support • Jobseeker's Allowance (Income-based) • Working Families' Tax Credit • Pension Credit Guaranteed Credit The NHS requires proof in all cases that you are eligible for its services.
